• 3.0 out of 5 stars from K -- Decent modern body horror/zombie novel : Good body horror/zombie read that involves aggressive fungus infection run amok in upstate New York. At just over 200 pages this is a very quick read without much character development. The action mostly makes up for that. I went to snap the pic and the pages on my Kindle started flipping. Quite rapidly. It was like the mushroom was trying to absorb the information within the story. Trying to learn, and plan. So if I start hallucinating, talking about the voices in my head, and saying that The God of Dirt is calling me, please join me.
