  • 2.0 out of 5 stars from Kim K -- Terrible Photos! : So you know all those crisp, glossy photos you see in the information section? Well, that’s definitely NOT what I got! The photos are all pale and look like I printed them on my home printer while running out of ink. I am so disappointed! I like the text, but without quality photos, it’s useless to me. I am returning. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 1, 2020 )
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Agata Ko -- A pretty nice book for little space enthusiasts : I got this book for a 4 year old boy’s birthday - he loves space and everything about planets, comets, asteroids and so on. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 19, 2020 )
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from LisaMH -- Great age-appropriate planet book with interesting info : Took a chance on this as a pre-order and it was a huge success. The writing and information is simple and informative at the same time. This is best for ( Reviewed in the United States on July 7, 2020 )
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Amanda Nicole -- Ideal book for little astronauts : We are obsessed with planets. This isn’t meant as a brag but at 2.5yrs my son is very fluent in the solar system. Knows every planets and all dwarf planets. Many many moons of several planets and all sorts of stuff I’d never ever heard of until this phase started up. The Oort Cloud springs to mind haha. Anyway, his face when we opened this book up and dwarf planet Ceres WAS INCLUDED IN ITS CORRECT SPOT!!! Plus his favorite dwarf planet make make!!! It’s a home run. Well written, fun facts, and comprehensive. This will be a part of our collection for a long time. I’ve read it to him at least 25 times in the three days we’ve had it. Great job Dr! • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Daniel Hoy -- A great book for space science outreach : I serve as a NASA JPL Solar System Ambassador Volunteer, and this is a book I will definitely use and recommend when doing my outreach with kids. This is exactly the kind of information I use in a twenty to thirty minute introduction to the Solar System, so will serve as a great “if you want to learn more”. Fact-filled, engaging and nicely illustrated! ( Reviewed in the United States on June 28, 2020 )
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Evelyn -- First Planet Book : What a wonderful planet book. Well illustrated and a great book for children getting to know our solar system. I got this for my 3 1/2 grandson as he is interested in the planets. The book not only shows the planets but tells important facts about each one. When we play with Play Doh he makes the planets and tells me about each planet he has learned from the book. This is a "must" book for little ones who have an interest in planets. Would purchase again. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2020 )
  • 1.0 out of 5 stars from Sara Song -- Bad quality book. Find a better printed one : The printing quality is horrible. I’m so sad that a book like this with good content had to produce this way. The bending on the images are real bad..plus some papers are stuck together on the bottom. I’ll purchase the book if/ only it is printed on a better quality paper & with a legit printing company. Whoever was is charge of press-check failed big time. ( Reviewed in the United States on December 7, 2020 )
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Debora A. Carroll -- It's Great! : I bought this book for my grandson who is 6, almost 7, and in the first grade. It states the reading age is for 3-5-year-olds. I disagree. My grandson loves it! He read the whole book the first day he got it. He would love to have more books on this exact reading level. He loved the fact that it's a big book with lots of pages! I highly recommend this book. ( Reviewed in the United States on February 11, 2021 )
  • 2.0 out of 5 stars from KAREN T -- Cheap paper, poor quality pics : Cheap paper and poor quality pics. Pages were all wavy as though been damp. Content good, but spoilt by cheap and nasty pages and awful picture quality ( Reviewed in the United Kingdom on October 10, 2020 )
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from JLH -- Out of this world! 🪐 : This book is awesome! Bought for my five year old daughter who is space crazy. It’s well written and contains loads of information about all the planets and solar system in general. Easy for younger readers to understand and follow, although it’s not written in a ‘baby-ish’ fashion - content is aimed at the space loving younger generation, and to be honest I also learnt a lot! The pictures are eye catching and add another level of intrigue to the already fascinating written content. The book has sparked lots of questions which has added to the enthusiasm and prompted lots of conversations which has been amazing. If you have a budding young astronaut, this book will satisfy their need for information - I can’t recommend it enough ...it’s out of this world! (Sorry, couldn’t resist!)
